Stinkynomics: Better Late Than Never

First, a statement.

FRAUDS

· Me. I’m a hot fraud. BIG fraud. My team borderline stinks. But I offer you this. Can I really be a fraud if I know my team is fraudulent, you know it’s fraudulent, and everyone knows it’s fraudulent? I say no. Again, I apologize for nothing. I was out in front of this in like week 6, when I told Del my team is like Notre Dame. Neither are that good. But both keep winning. So let’s see where it goes.

· No one else is as close to as lucky as me. I’m the only team in the league with a luck factor greater than 1.0. Good. Better to be lucky than good. Write that down, Tony.

THE FAVORITE

· Don’t get it twisted, Giorgio’s team is a juggernaut. The challenge is that massive standard deviation. The Italians can throw up 600, but also prone to laying clunkers. The first round bye will be critical for the Count of Cremona if he wants to raise the Lombardy. It could be tough to string together three strong weeks.

A WHOLE BUNCH OF CONTENDERS

· This will be a year where the champion who emerges will really have earned it (so no, it won’t be me). Lots of teams that are really solid and on the rise. Andrew, Jeff, Giorgio, Tony, Bo, and Gwil are your collective favorites. It’s anyone’s game at this point. Lots of DelFL parity.

ROYALLY SCREWED

· Speaking of Jeff, that iPad must be taking a beating this year. Four losses with 400 point outputs is tough to swallow. Did the panic button get pushed too soon with that big trade? This team is consistently solid, and just needs a couple division wins down the stretch to make a serious push.
