Mock Draft 2020
After predicting only 11% correctly in 2019, your Resident DelFL Insiders take another crack at predicting draft picks.
Don't mock the Mockers. The following is a well researched prediction of Monday's upcoming draft's 1st round, assembled by the DelFL's perspicaious duo. This year to change things up, they have commented on their selections, allowing the DelFL more insight to their clairvoyant madness. Will they be closer than they were last year (2/18)? One would hope so. This year's picks look like they will be closer to their 2018 predictions (5/18). It does help that Tits McShay has the #1 pick.
Tits - Lamar Jackson - This pick is already in. The analysts are 1/1.
Sqwid - Christian McCaffrey - The kracken turns back to his 2018 ways to try and rejuvinate this top 5 delfl owner.
Yanni - Saquon Barkley - Yanni made this pick in week 16 at tiki bar while him and the fish were drooling over his performance in the fantasy finale week.
Jesse - Patrick Mahomes - Jesse snatches up his beloved chiefs QB. This pick allows Jesse to make a few mistakes along the way and still compete.
Giorgio - Mike Thomas - Giorgio does not take any chances and takes the safest player on the board.
Bo - Zeke Elliott - I will enjoy Gwil rooting for my RB1 all season long in Washington.
Boner - Derrick Henry - Boner is not sure what to do here, he is a bit flustered. When in doubt he always goes with the guy with the biggest package and Derrick Henry takes the honor.
Stinky - Dalvin Cook - We have no insight into this pick. Nobody has heard from Stinky in some time. Rumor has it he was around for the bunnathon but not a peep from the former champ, we will go chalk here.
Birdman - Alvin Kamara - Birdman jumps over his computer desk to click the mouse as quickly as possible to lock up one of the elite backs at 9.
Sean - Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Sean has a really tough pick here but I think he takes CEH not because he loves him but more so because he does not like anyone else.
X - Davante Adams - Andrew is certainly drafting one of his packers here. The question is does he go Jones or Adams ? We think Adams.
Randy - Nick Chubb - Randy typically does not draft his hometown favorites and we commend him for that, however, this year Chubb is too good to pass up for Randy.
Jeff - DeAndre Hopkins - With Jeff having two third round picks he just needs to load up on talent and not screw this up. This is a good start.
Billy - Josh Jacobs - Billy takes a chance on Jacobs having a big year in Vegas after a promising rookie season.
Del - Austin Ekeler - A true Kavorka, Ekeler comes back home.
Tony - Joe Mixon - After losing to the Wolf in the final and having a break down he tries to attempt the long walk back up the mountain by taking a page out of Keith's playbook and selecting the the Bengal back.
Keith - Aaron Jones - Keith is more concerned with who Gwil is picking rather than on his own pick. Keith will take the best available rb and begin WR roulette on the way back.
Gwil - Kenyan Drake - Reality sets in for Gwil here when he realizes all the top backs are gone. Does he gamble on Drake upside or does he go with his RB0 approach that he has been gushing about lately ? All eyes are on the rookie.
