Trekking for 2 Stars
As we say ‘Live Well and Prosper’ to the non-contenders of the DelFL Playoff race, a team Spok would find highly illogical has emerged from a Black Hole no one thought would appear.
Once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. Sean-Luc Picard has been waffling on the line of impossibility for the entire year. There were many moments when his season was more of an episode of The Orville than Star Trek. The Orvillest moment came on the 5th loss of the season in Week 7 (dropping Sean-Luc Picard’s record to 2-5) while only scoring 218 points. The 2nd Star-ship’s shields were down, vulnerable, with its season barreling into the empty chasm of space. But the truth is, however improbable, the 2nd Star-Ship’s chances have jettisoned back to orbit.
Captain Christian Kirk and the rest of the 2nd Star-Ship fleet somehow navigated the minefield to a perfect Divisional record. Murmurs of this being the greatest comeback in DelFL history percolate down Wooster Street to the Texas Medical Center and onwards throughout the entire galaxy. Now with only 2 weeks left, Sean-Luc Picard’s 2 Star-ship actually has a path to 2 stars. The voyage has been bumpy but as a wise Star Fleet Captain once said, ‘it doesn’t matter how you got to this moment, win now; make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again.’
2 weeks left before the DelFL Playoffs begin: The Final Frontier. Sean plans to boldly go where only two have gone before.
