Fish Takes the # 8 Pick

Tony decides to take the 8th spot in the draft while Keith, who is replacing Parker, will go last at 18th.

Tony won the Giorgio Cup in 2018 and has decided to take the #8 Draft slot for the 2019 season. The draft is scheduled for September 2nd @ 8:15pm EST. Please let me know if you have any problems with that specific draft date and time.

Here is the revised draft order:

1) Stinky

2) Sean

3) Warren

4) Giorgio

5) Jeff

6) Yanni

7) Del

8) Tony*

9) Andrew

10) Jesse

11) Birdman

12) Billy

13) Boner

14) Bo

15) Randy

16) Kapo

17) Squid

18) Keith

Also, it is with a heavy heart that Parker has been kicked out of the DelFL. This wasn't an easy decision but one that I felt needed to be made in the best interest for the DelFL and probably for Parker himself. Parker is my friend, a Brown Jacket Champion, and helped build this league into what it is today (that sounds cheesy but I mean it).

Now with Parker out & Keith in, there will be some slight changes besides Keith moving to the 18th draft slot. Kapo will be moving to the Bo/Birdman/Jesse/Boner/Tony Division and will be playing Birdman in the week 13 rivalry game (seems fitting). Keith will play in the Randy/Squid/Stinky/Giorgio/Yanni Division and will play Squid in the week 13 rivalry game.

Look, I realize that we will never have the same 18 guys for all of eternity, but this decision does make me sad. If how I handled it is criticized, I definitely understand and accept responsibility. As most of this league knows, I love continuity and participation. Not showing up to a Bunnathon obviously isn't a reason to kick out any person. No one is on the chopping block.
