Bali-eve It Or Not
Parker hasn't lost since his trip to the Indonesian island.
It is very difficult to write a story about Parker in 2017. To paraphrase Churchhill, 'I cannot forecast to you the actions of Parker. He is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma'. Does he live in San Antonio? Last I heard. Is he working for Schlumberger? Sounds right. Will he be in Findlay for Thanksgiving? No news yet. Do Parker's bright eyes and sweet smile still draw Lorraine to him? Of course they do.
One does not hear from Parker very often these days. A cantankerous Fish, who gets laryngitis from screaming for Parker's relegation, will tell you this ad nauseam. Luckily for Parker, Fish doesn't have a Brown Jacket, so his words are futile. All we do know is that Parker recently got married and went to Bali for his honeymoon. That was 4 weeks ago. Parker's DelFL record was 1-5.
Parker has now won 4 straight games, including his first game without Zeke Elliott. He now has a .500 record and is emerging as a dark horse playoff contender. So what exactly happened in Bali? He certainly didn't get involved in the same shenanigans he did on Paradise Island with Bo and Tony 10 years ago. Whatever Parker did do, it's working. With the help of a streaking Matt Stafford (nothing to do with clothes, you have to be precise when talking about this in the Lions organization), Parker will try and keep the Bali magic going. Perhaps the DelFL's all-time leading points scorer can even make it 7 in a row and make the playoffs. Note to Fish: maybe you should take the Doctor to nice places as well for once. It certainly can't hurt your DelFL performance.
