Art of the Seal
Andrew's sage tell-all tome on how he reached the pinnacle of DelFL success, and how you can too (for the very low price of $27.99 on paper back & $75.99 on hardcover).
Away from all the noise and distraction of Manhattan, the DelFL's new suburbanite sat down and wrote a 'self-help fantasy' book. While not officially released until December, the DelFL was able to get a few transcripts:
"…listen to your gut, no matter how good something sounds on paper. You’re generally better off sticking with what you know, but if you're Tony and know nothing, stick with Matthew Berry."
"My style of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after. Sometimes I settle for less than I sought, and in some cases the Commissioner blocks a deal giving me a Brown Jacket."
“I believe in spending what you have to. But I also believe in not spending more than you should. Basically the exact opposite of the Rashard Higgins acquisition."
"I never get too attached to my players, the draft or one approach, for instance, like Tony and his algorithm. For starters, I keep a lot of players in the air, because some choices fall out, no matter how promising they seem at first."
"The worst of times often create the best opportunities to make good deals. Or just wait for Jeff to start reeling and then collude."
