Mayday! Mayday!
They have yet to find the black box.
The Battle at Bunker Hill, Napoleon's invasion of Russia, Giorgio's conquest of the Big SevBen Burger; all of these are known for being Pyrrhic victories. Add Week 4's Jetlife win over the Descendants to that list.
In what has to be the most injurious weekend in DelFL history, Kapo saw his starting QB (Derek Carr), star rookie RB (Dalvin Cook) & emerging WR (Davante Adams) get KO'd. Add on minor but possibly lingering injuries to Julio Jones & Ameer Abdullah, and it is tough to see how Jetlife will manage it's way out of the intensive care unit and into the playoffs.
The first responders to the crash will do what they can to salvage this season. Kapo benefits from a weak division, which with a 2-2 record is still good enough for a tie for 1st place. However, an upcoming inter-division schedule of Tony/Jeff/Birdman/Sean has a combined record of 11-5, expect more turbulence before the low hanging fruit of division play can be eaten. If Kapo can get his team back up in the air and back in playoff contention, it might be his best fantasy managing job yet.
