Final Four
Two Divisional matchups in the Final Four featuring 3 previous champions and one very confident outsider.
#1 Del Boca Vista Phase III Owner: Sean Brown 2016 Season: 10-3 2016 PPG: 466 Playoffs: 3-2 H2H v. Andrew: 7-4 Best Matchup in Round 2: David Johnson v. NO Worst Matchup in Round 2: T.Y. Hilton @MIN
Sean was hoping to see a weaker Monogamyans team in the semi-final, but instead will have to face the superior Baby Seals. These two teams played recently in week 12 with Andrew winning by 70 points. If Sean is going to win this time around, he will need big games from his running backs (David Johnson & Jeremy Hill) both of whom have easy matchups in week 15. But for other positions on the Del Boca Vistas, the starter descisions aren't as easy. Will Sean start Jameis @DAL or will he play Derek Carr and his gimpy pinkie @SD? Sean will also have a tough decision whether to start his Denver D/ST v. NE or the Jaguars D/ST @HOU. If Sean chooses correctly, he stands a good chance of making his 2nd finals in 3 years. v. #5 Nothing But Baby Seal Owner: Andrew Brown 2016 Season: 9-4 2016 PPG: 425 Playoffs: 4-4 H2H v. Sean: 4-7 Best Matchup in Round 2: Matt Ryan v. SF Worst Matchup in Round 2: Donte Moncrief @MIN Andrew has won 8 of his last 9 games and this team is showing no signs of fading out. After easily dismissing the Commissioner's team, Andrew now moves onto his 7th straight game against a family member, this time #1 seed Sean. The Seals are mostly healthy (some concern with Moncrief's hamstring), and his stars are playing their best football of the season. That should continue this week with a lot of auspicious matchups, which will make for some tough decision making. Look for this roster to change quite a bit before Andrew locks them in on Sunday. Are we going to see the return of the Pack Attack (3 Green Bay WRs)? Will we see McKinnon? Will Rawls be benched? No matter the decision, this is starting to look like it could be the year where Andrew dons the Brown Jacket.
--------------------------- #2 I Luv My Bohner Owner: Justin Bohnlein 2016 Season: 9-4 2016 PPG: 451 Playoffs: 3-2 H2H v. Bo: 4-6 Best Matchup in Round 2: Julio Jones v. SF Worst Matchup in Round 2: Frank Gore @MIN There is no doubt that John and Jane lover their son; but they cannot love this I Luv My Bohner team's chances. There are a lot of question marks, but none bigger than Julio Jones's health situation. If Julio is unable to play in week 15, it could be an early exit for Boner who will be playing in his 1st playoff game since 2012 (Boner also lost in his 1st game that year). He also desperately needs Eli Manning to score more than 3 points (as he did in week 14). He must have Terrance West get some carries back from the true RB1 in Baltimore, Kenneth Dixon. Boner will also be praying that the Giants Defense doesn't go into the negative like they have so many times in the past postseasons (Kapo shakes his head in disbelief). This is an uphill climb for Boner, and irregardless of seeding, he will not be favored to win. v. #3 GAME OF JONES Owner: Bo Crawford 2016 Season: 9-4 2016 PPG: 447 Playoffs: 4-3 H2H v. Boner: 6-4 Best Matchup in Round 2: Sammy watkins v. CLE Worst Matchup in Round 2: Doug Martin @DAL Bo might have an aptly named team, not because his Jones will be the key to this semi-final game (he has no one named Jones), but because it is Boner's Jones that might be the difference to who plays a Brown for a chance at a Brown Jacket the following week. While Boner's concerns are less about matchups than health and touches; Bo's personnel problems in week 15 derive from their tough opponents. With this team it all starts with the QB. Drew Brees has not been playing up to his fantasy Hall of Fame standard (only 48 points last two weeks); and things will not get much easier @ARI this Sunday. Meanwhile, Doug Martin faces a tough run defense @DAL, Antonio & Deandre face tough pass defenses (@CIN & JAX respectively). But at least Bo knows that his guys will play and they will get the ball.
