Which One?

Will it be a new jacket, a 2nd star or a 3rd star? We will find out in 3 weeks... Good Luck!

#1 Del Boca Vista Phase III Owner: Sean Brown 2016 Season: 10-3 2016 PPG: 466 Playoffs: 3-2 Another great year for Sean, who now has 3 Division Championships (tied for the record), 3 Points Championships (the record) & 3 Regular Season Championships (tied for the record). You can make an argument that since 2011 there has been no better DelFL Owner than Sean. He is clearly the favorite heading into the postseason, no matter what he would tell you. However, earning a 2nd star will not be easy. The #1 seed hasn't won the DelFL since 2009 (Bo). There are legitimate concerns at the WR position despite the Top 5 ranking TY Hilton, the emerging Malcolm Mitchell & TD machine Rishard Matthews. But behind David Johnson and Derek Carr, Sean is a deserving #1 seed and will be a tough out in week 15 no matter which family member faces him. v. BYE #4 The Last of Monogamyans Owner: Del Brown 2016 Season: 9-4 2016 PPG: 437 Playoffs: 5-1 H2H v. Andrew: 7-4 Best Matchup in Round 1: Golden Tate v. CHI Worst Matchup in Round 1: Andrew Luck v. HOU The Commissioner's 7 game win streak came to a screeching halt in week 13. Failing to defeat the Del Boca Vistas has placed the Commissioner in an unfamiliar place: the Wildcard Round. In each of his 3 previous playoff appearances, the Commish has had the BYE; but now he will have to grind out 3 wins if he wants to add a 3rd star to his jacket. Leading the grind, as usual for a Commissioner team, will be the running backs Demarco Murray (upcoming schedule: DEN, @KC, @JAX) & Lamar Miller (upcoming schedule: @IND, JAX, CIN). As they go, so goes this team. There are some favorable matchups in week 14 and this team should be able to put up 400+ points, but will it be enough? v. #5 Nothing But Baby Seal Owner: Andrew Brown 2015 Season: 9-4 2015 PPG: 425 Playoffs: 3-4 H2H v. Del: 4-7 Best Matchup in Round 1: Tyler Eifert @CLE Worst Matchup in Round 1: Jordy Nelson v. SEA 3 straight playoffs & 5th overall qualification (tied for a record) has the Seals hungry for a Brown Jacket. But Andrew hasn't played in the finals since 2007, and to get to the finals again, he will have to defeat 2 family members. He has experience against his cousins in the playoffs, Andrew lost to the Commissioner in the Final Four in 2012 and lost to Sean in the Final Four in 2014. Helping to avenge those critical losses is star QB, Matt Ryan (upcoming schedule: @LA, SF, @CAR) and star WR, Jordy Nelson (upcoming schedule: SEA, @CHI, MIN). Those two will need to anchor this team. ESPN currently has Andrew projected to lose to the Commissioner by 60+ points, but projections are hollow, this team definitely has the championship roster. Maybe this is finally the year that Andrew gets to wear the Brown Jacket. --------------------------- #2 I Luv My Bohner Owner: Justin Bohnlein 2015 Season: 9-4 2015 PPG: 451 Playoffs: 3-2 Welcome back to the playoffs Boner! You can debate how much visiting Shanghai helped Boner secure the BYE, but one thing is certain, this is the best Boner team we have seen since 2008. That said, he didn't quite finish off the regular season the way he hoped. Boner lost 2 of his final 3 games. At one point in week 13 there was a chance he could miss the playoffs entirely. Alas, he was able to beat a Piss Poor Four Jesse team and now gets to see week 15 and plays the winner of Bo versus Squid. Pay close attention to Julio Jones (upcoming schedule: @LA, SF, @CAR), this team is only as good as its WR1, and lately the Falcons WR has been just average. Boner was the first DelFL Champion, over 10 years ago, he now finally has a chance to add another star to that jacket. v. BYE #3 GAME OF JONES Owner: Bo Crawford 2015 Season: 9-4 2015 PPG: 447 Playoffs: 3-3 H2H v. Squid: 2-2 Best Matchup in Round 1: Doug Martin @NO Worst Matchup in Round 1: Antonio Brown @BUF New team name, similar team results. Despite losing in his 3rd straight El Clasico, Bo is back in the postseason, ending his longest playoff drought (3 years). He desperately wanted the BYE, but instead had to settle for a 1st round matchup against Squid. This team has star names such as Antonio Brown (upcoming schedule: @BUF, @CIN, BAL), Deandre Hopkins (upcoming schedule: @IND, JAX, CIN) and of course Drew Brees (upcoming schedule: @TB, @ARI, TB). But sometimes stars can struggle, and the biggest question this team faces may be how Brees can do against an improving Buccaneers defense. It's safe to say that Bo has a better all-around roster than Squid, he is projected to outscore What's Krackalackin by 60+ points according to ESPN. But the question remains, will the stars shine or will they fall in the spotlight? v. #6 What's Krackalackin Owner: Jeremy Widman 2015 Season: 8-5 2015 PPG: 456 Playoffs: 0-2 H2H v. Bo: 2-2 Best Matchup in Round 1: Jimmy Graham @ GB Worst Matchup in Round 1: James Starks @ GB What could have been? This is a question one has to ask considering Squid will be without his top 2 WRs (AJ Green & Alshon Jeffery) heading into the playoffs. When that happened, the Commissioner wrote Squid off from making the playoffs. Squid proved resilient. While it looks like unlikely, Squid shouldn't be written off from winning the Brown Jacket. This is still a solid team with 7 players in the top 10 positional rankings. Squid can get at least 50+ points from everyone on his roster, including his kicker Sebastion Janikowski (upcoming schedule: @KC, @SD, IND). This team has been anchored all year by Melvin Gordon (upcoming schedule: @CAR, OAK, @CLE). If Squid is going to win his first playoff game, he will need the Gordon to keep playing like a beast.
