Heart or Brain
Pay lots of attention to the man behind the curtain.
'Hearts will never be practical until they can be made unbreakable,' said the Wizard of Oz. Andrew knows all about broken hearts after losing in dramatic fashion more than once in his DelFL career. At the center of that heart breaking is the Chicago Bears QB, and fellow Commodore, Jay Cutler. One would think that a Vanderbilt grad would learn from such abuse, but Andrew's Stockholm Syndrome has clearly made him a masochist.
If he only had a brain, Andrew could have whiled away the hours in a Brown Jacket. To have a chance at wearing one this year, he will need to start Matt Ryan. The Falcons QB could very well end up with the most points in the DelFL. He is averaging a wizardly 110 points per game. He has the best WR in football, while playing in a dome at home, and in a warm weather division that will foster plenty of high scoring games during the winter. But, the DelFL knows that we will likely see Cutler, not just during the Falcons BYE in week 11, but also in the weeks perhaps before and after. The heart wants what the heart wants.
So while Andrew can certainly tell us why the oceans near the shore & think of things he's never thought before. He should have the courage to rethink giving Jay Cutler another chance.
