Steel in First
As the dawn of the 11th season approaches, Bo remains the #1 ranked player in the DelFL Name: Bo Crawford 2015 Record: 7-6 Career Record: 74-49 Division Championships: 3 (2009, 2010 & 2012) Playoff Appearances: 4 (2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012) Playoff Wins: 3 Finals Appearances: 2 Brown Jackets: 1 Why the Steelers? It is not hard to make a case for Bo being the top ranked DelFL Owner. Since he joined the DelFL in 2007, he has has won 60% of his games (best in DelFL, 2nd is Boner @ 55%). Bo has won 3 regular season Championships and is the only Owner to qualify for four consecutive playoffs (2009-2012). Bo started off slowly with a 5-8 record, but ever since, has not had one year with more than 7 losses. Bo has made 2 finals and has one Brown Jacket. It also isn't hard to make a case for the Pittsburgh Steelers being the top ranked NFL team. Since 1972, they have only 2 stretches of missing the playoffs more than 3 consecutive years. Since 1972 the Steelers have reached 17 Conference Championships (most in NFL). No one has played in more Super Bowls and no one has won more Super Bowls. Both Bo and the Steelers expect to win and they also expect to defeat their rivals. They both play in one of the most lopsided rivalry games in their respective leagues, although at least for Bo, that seems to be changing. Recently both teams have been trending downwards. The Steelers can't figure out how to keep their star players on the field & Bo hasn't made the playoffs since 2012 (despite going 20-19 in that stretch). Will the Browns & Tony be able to capitalize on this momentary stumble? We will soon find out, until then, TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK.
