Why the Panthers?

A newer team from the south with success right out of the gate? That could describe both the Carolina Panthers and Yanni. Both have made a name for themselves in their short tenures in their respective leagues. The Panthers made the playoffs in their 2nd year, and have qualified for the playoffs in 33% of their seasons. The Panthers have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL and can rack up huge point totals. Despite their fecundity, the Panthers haven't been able to win the big game, losing twice in the Super Bowl (most recently to the Broncos and Peyton Manning). Yanni also made the playoffs in his 2nd year and has qualified for the playoffs in 40% of his seasons. Yanni has been a prolific scorer since he arrived, scoring the most points in the DelFL in 2 different seasons (Sean and Jesse are the only Owners who also have 2 Points Championships). Yanni has been to the finals as well, but like the Panthers, Yanni fell short (to Kapostasy's Jelly Sproles who also had Peyton Manning). Going into the 2016 season no one would be surprised if the Panthers lifted the Lombardi trophy and Yanni put on a Brown Jacket, both of these teams have bright futures.
