Why the Eagles?

What is that noise you hear? Is that coming from the Link bleachers or Andrew's Wechat? For all the noise that the Philadelphia Eagles fans and Andrew can muster, neither have produced a Championship. However, they both have been competitive. From 2000-2010, the Eagles only missed the Playoffs twice, reaching the Conference Championship 4 times in that span and losing in the Super Bowl in 2004. Andrew has made the playoffs 3 times in the last 4 years, reaching the Final Four twice and losing in the final to Birdman in 2007 (his first year). Eagles fans and Andrew are loud, brash and confident. They both are able to forget previous Playoff losses (no matter how gut wrenching) with a somewhat delusional sense of optimism for the following year. Both have a Ptolemaic belief their respective teams are the most important franchises in their leagues. Both despise losing to their rivals. They both exemplify East Coast sports, and when that day comes when they do win a Championship, they won't let anyone forget.
