The Finals

Tits takes on Jesse in the 2015 DelFL Finals.

#4 Steamer's Wetlands

Owner: John Kapostasy

2015 Season: 8-5

2015 PPG: 456

Playoffs: 6-1

H2H v. Jesse: 6-3

Best Matchup in Round 1: Cam Newton @ ATL

Worst Matchup in Round 1: A.J. Green @ DEN

Obviously all the attention is on ODB's appeal. We will know soon if Tits' star WR will play in the Finals, until then there won't be much sleep in Olympia. But even if ODB doesn't play, Tits should refrain on popping too many Valiums and remain confident that his team will continue its torrid winning streak. Without ODB, Steamer's Wetlands will most likely capture a second DelFL Championship in three years. The main reason is that this isn't ODB's team, this has been Cam Newton's season, and it is fitting that the Carolina QB is carrying not only his NFL team but fantasy teams across the country to fantasy glory. Last week Cam scored 200 points, this week he plays a weak Falcons defense that he torched 2 weeks ago. The DelFL stars are aligning and if Cam Netwon can score 100+ points, if Greg Olsen can continue being the 2nd best TE in the NFL, if the AJ's in Cincy can finally get their timing corrected and especially if ODB gets his appeal, then this game is a lock for Tits and Steamer.

v.

#2 Frisbee Boys

Owner: Jesse Wohl

2015 Season: 9-4

2015 PPG: 485

Playoffs: 4-2

H2H v. Tits: 3-6

Best Matchup in Round 1: Charcandrick v. CLE

Worst Matchup in Round 1: Tom Brady @ NYJ

Jesse is trying to avoid becoming the first DelFL Owner to lose twice in the finals (Jesse lost to Bo in 2009). If Jesse is to elude that ignonimous fate, it will be Tom Brady doing Tom Brady things against an AFC rival (NYJ). Tom Brady continues to put up big numbers week to week and despite Cam Newton getting all the headlines, Brady is the #1 overall player (let alone QB) in the DelFL. Jesse has the support of the majority of the DelFL, not only because they don't want to see the outspoken Tits win another star but also they would like to see Tony become the only Owner in that division not to have a Championship. But the road to victory will be bumpy. Steamer Wetlands almost doubled the Frisbee Boys point total in Round 2. This week the projections are less imbalanced, but there is no question who has the superior team. Jesse has a legitimate chance at winning but will need strong performances from his running backs and also a little help from his opponent (like an ODB suspension).
